A couple weeks I ago, I got a call on my day off from my boss. That's not a good sign. So I answered and I said, "You calling me when I'm not at work is never good. What did I do wrong?" He told me I hadn't done anything wrong but that this wasn't a happy call. Turns out the grocery store that my branch was in announced they were closing. In 10 days. Yikes. So our branch had to close as well. It was a pretty crazy few days as we were trying to figure out if we were closing and when and where each of us was going. Then we had to start closing down the branch. I was really sad because I've worked there for over a year - those are my friends! On Friday, October 29th, we shut down for good and we each went our separate ways. Except for Cory and I who, in fact, went the same way to our new branch in north Orem. Oh, and Chase and Ray also went the same way to the their new branch.

It only took about a year, but Laura and I actually became friends! Now I'm not going to have anyone to share my dating woes with...
I'm still bummed about the transfer and I still miss my friends. But the new branch is going ok. Oh, except for the jerky boss (see the previous post).
