Settling In

We've been working on getting the house established, and it's definitely coming along. I finally got my gallery wall put up. It's a huge project, and I always dread it (this is now the third iteration), but it was actually pretty smooth this time around. I think I'm getting the hang of it! I love how it turned out - I'm so in love with these black walls.

I got the curtain rods hung in the dining room, as well, and then realized the curtains were too short. So my mom graciously let them out for me, and they do a great job adding color to the room.

T&M in Town

Thomas and Madison weren't able to come home for Christmas, since they were in Hawaii for the BYU bowl game. Instead, they came over President's Day weekend. That same weekend, Jacob and Alisha went to California so my parents had Alexander for the weekend.

Saturday morning, my parents, Thomas and Madison, and Alexander came up to Jackson's basketball game. Afterwards, they went to the temple, and I brought Alexander to my house for a few hours, which was SO fun. He's at such a fun age - just walking all over the place exploring everything. When I put him down for a nap, I was the only one here. When he woke up, though, Brandon was back and Alexander was more shy and super cuddly since I was the one he knew. And I loved it. :)

That evening, we all gathered at the bowling alley for a fun night. We had a great time, and I bowled the best game of my life!

That night, Thomas and Madison announced they are expecting a baby in August, and then a couple weeks after that, we found out Jacob and Alisha are expecting in October. More Shoaf babies on the way!
