Lauren's birthday was October 11. So, one night, a few of us were deciding what we should do for her for her birthday. We decided to take her out for sushi (that's her favorite) and have cake and a one-song dance party afterwards. So DeeAura told Lauren she couldn't have plans the night of her birthday. BUT Lauren told DeeAura that she had to work! Lame! Well, Aubrey reminded us that DeeAura knows Lauren's boss and could probably work something out. So she pulled some strings and we got Lauren off work for the night. But she didn't know that! So she showed up at work, and a little while later, Sarah, Alecia, and I went and picked her up and whisked her away! There was a co-worker there waiting to take her spot.
She was very surprised. It was very satisfying. We are very sneaky.
We met a group of people up in American Fork for sushi. Here's the birthday girl with Angela and Aubrey Morrill.
We tried to take a group shot, but my camera's batteries were severely dead. So while, no one else was expecting it, we got a shot that just had Lauren, Brittany, and I focused. So I just cut everyone else out. Who needs them, anyway? We look great.
We then took Lauren back to the Omni for a surprise party! Alecia made a freakin' bomb cake. Dee-lish.
Alaina and Lauren cut the cake together. Precious. Too bad Alaina actually just did that at her own real wedding a couple of months ago.
