My computer is really slow, so I don't use it very often. I can't justify waiting 15 minutes for it to boot up and load the webpage I need when I can just check it on my phone in 1 minute. Once it's up, though, I do prefer having a bigger screen to see things and a full keyboard to type things. When I have something that will take a while or several things all together, I'll get my computer out to do it all at once.
Except then I forget what some of the things are. So logically, instead of just putting the computer aside and doing whatever else I have to do, I stay on my computer checking every possible website I can think of, hoping that eventually whatever I meant to do originally will come back to me so I can be done with my computer.
Yes, this makes sense. It's why I've spent the last half hour checking facebook, every blog I read, and all my email accounts. It's also why I'm writing this post. Because let's be honest, I don't post that often.
If you're wondering, this didn't help me remember what I had to do.
In other new, my birthday is tomorrow. I'm turning 28, which I'm sure I'll write some depressing post about later. I may or may not have had to plan my own birthday dinner tomorrow because no one would just take the lead and make something happen. But I'm going to look the other way and enjoy the fact that I have dinner with my family tomorrow, bowling with work friends on Thursday, then a whole weekend with Jaime who's flying in Thursday night! That weekend includes Wicked with my mom and sisters on Friday and Catching Fire on Saturday. Birthday doesn't exist in my world. I'm all about birth week.
Also, I signed up for as many restaurant email clubs as possible and I now have more coupons than I will ever be able to use, since many of the restaurants give you coupons for signing up PLUS coupons for your birthday. If you're thinking of going out to eat in the next week and you live anywhere close to me, give me a ring before you go. I'm sure I can hook you up.
