I traveled quite a bit this summer for work, driving all over Indiana. Aside from the humidity, I love summer in Indiana. The tall green corn against the blue sky is one of my favorite sights.
On one trip to Evansville, I realized that many of the scenes from one of my favorite movies, "A League of Their Own" were filmed in Evansville, including their home stadium scenes. So I looked it up and drove by to check it out. The gate was open, so I snuck inside to snap some pictures. It's a beautiful historic field, and it was a fun fangirl moment for me!
It was such a gorgeous day so afterwards I went to the park next door to do some work.
On another trip, I visited Madison, Indiana which has a gorgeous historic district along the Ohio River (have you noticed I love historic buildings?). It was also a gorgeous day so I grabbed a spot outside to do some work - one of the benefits of working remotely!
