Most of my family was out of town on Thanksgiving, so we spent Thanksgiving with Brandon's family. His grandma hosted and everyone pitched in. We took this photo right after Jackson found out he wasn't spending the night at his grandma's so...you can tell he was really pumped.
After 16 hours of sleep, though, he was a much happier guy. We spent the next day decorating for Christmas. And since there was way more food at Thanksgiving than we could possibly eat, I accepted the task of taking care of the leftover sugar cream and pumpkin pies.
A week or so before Christmas, Micah flew into town. We picked her up at the airport and she spent a couple of days with us and helped us decorate Christmas cookies - my absolute favorite cookie.
